1) What is the latest research for the discovery of a planet X?

Recently, NASA has brought up the notion that there is a large body sending comets and debris into the sun caused by a large Nemesis planet. This is very similar to what the ancient sumerian culture says about their ancient planet "nibiru".

It is interesting to note that NASA is not starting to acknowledge references of this Nemesis planet mentioned in various cultures but thought till now to just be myth. See latest article from modern science showing this might be FACT!

2) How long have we been looking for a planet X?

All throughout modern astronomy we have references to a "10th planet" or "planet x" being cited as the cause to explain anomalies in the orbital patters of the planets. Since the late 1980's with the research of Dr. Harrington, Planet X has been knocked back and worth as to whether or not the planet actually exists.

Only recently in the year 2004 and beyond did we start to discover new "planetoid" bodies floating beyond Pluto. Some of these like Xena, or Qaorar are nothing more than large chucks or mainly ice. Not to be considered a planet.

3) What is so important about a planet x?

Pluto was only discovered in 1930, and even then orbital perturbations were detected which lead them to believe a yet undetected large object is still out there affecting the orbits of the planets. Only recently with the development of more advanced infrared telescopes and advanced computational mathematics are we able to finally image and pinpoint new planets in or beyond our solar system.

Interestingly enough, the first planet image around another sun (not ours) by the Hubble filmed a planet on a highly elliptical orbit around its sun. Until this footage, astronomers had never seen a planet on such a highly elliptical orbit. This led astronomers to ask how such a planet would extend so far into the depths of space and still continue its orbit back in our direction.

4) Could planet X have killed the Dinosaurs, what is the Nemesis theory?

When we pointed Hubble at new solar systems found, an interesting pattern seemed to emerge. Almost 90% of external solar systems had "2 suns", a binary solar system.

Immediately the idea of a "planet X" in our solar system started to seem more possible with the idea that we also have 2 suns. (binary) However our "other sun" is a failed star or Brown dwarf. Due to the immense dust clouds and debris in space, we have not been able to properly image this star. However the research presented by Dr. Muller at Berkley suggested Nemesis. He projected a large planet that orbited this failed sun dislodged comets in the Ourt cloud sending that debris towards earth inevitably killing the dinosaurs.

5) How do astronomers go about looking for a planet x? And who are these people?

One of the latest space telescopes deployed is called SIRTF - space infrared telescope facility, recently rename to Spitizer. This telescope is special in that it is kept below freezing temperatures and is able to tune it s infrared capability in such a way as to match the temperature of these so called "dust clouds" deep in space allowing for a never seen clarity deep into space.

John Carr of the Naval Research Laboratory, Washington, and Joan Najita of the National Optical Astronomy Observatory, Tucson, Ariz., developed a new technique using Spitzer's infrared spectrograph to measure and analyze the chemical composition of the gases within protoplanetary disks. These are flattened disks of gas and dust that encircle young stars. Scientists believe they provide the building materials for planets and moons and eventually, over millions of years, evolve into orbiting planetary systems like our own.

6) What ancient knowledge is recorded about a planet X?

What most astronomers looking for planet x don't know, is that an ancient civilization over 6,000 years old also knew about another planet in our solar system. This ancient civilization produced over 100 of the 1st's for modern civilization and was found in where today's modern day Iraq is now located.

The Sumerian Culture located in the land also known as Mesopotamia, Babylon, but originally called Sumer is today's Iraq. This amazing civilization had not only invented writing and mathematics, but had some of the most advanced astronomical data recorded that has been found to exist in the form of a written language and stone artifacts with pictograms.

7) What are the effects "Planet X" may have caused in the past?

Following in the footsteps of the Sumerian stone tablets, planet x is described to have initially passed by earth billions of years ago disturbing the outer planets. On one of it's passes the main moon of nibiru hit earth cracking half of the planet into what we now call the asteroid belt. In relatively recent times (4,000 years ago?), planet x passed by earth causing gravitational effects to earth which caused part of the ice sheet in Antarctica to crack off significantly raising the water levels world wide instantly. The great flood. There is an actual Sumerian tablet stored in the British museum labeled the "flood tablet" which discloses this very tale.

8) Who were the Sumerians and what did they say about planet x?

The Sumerian's are the 1st recorded civilization on earth. They invited writing, math, agriculture, medicine, courts, law, judges, schools, and even astrology and astronomy. They were master astronomers having cited the distance between the planets and even the correct colors of the outer planets. This should not even be possible without the aid of telescopes from a 6,000 year old civilization.

They recorded (accurately) all the planets we know of but included an additional planet which they called "Nibiru". They said our solar system has (12) members in that they counted the nine planets plus our sun (10) our moon (11) and the (12th planet) which is on a highly elliptical orbit and only passes around the sun every 3,600 years.

9) How could the ancient Sumerians know about so much? Who taught them?

The Sumerian culture, today's Iraq, is credited with over 100 of the 1st's needed in a high civilization. They have left us 1000's of cylinder seals and stone tablets which tell about their daily lives. They also recorded sacred texts on some of these tablets which tell us that if you were to ask a Sumerian man, "how do you know all this advanced math and astronomy?" They have left us an answer written in stone.

They say "all that we know, we were taught by the ANUNNAKI". The term ANUNNAKI means "those who from heaven to earth came." The Sumerians claim to have lived amongst their LIVING GODS. These ANUNNAKI taught the Sumerians how to record in stone the location from which they came. The ANUNNAKI live on the 12th planet in our solar system which is called NIBIRU. The number (12) has proven to be the root of many sources of information derived from the Sumerian culture that we still use today.

12 hours in a day / night
12 inches in a foot
12 in a dozen
12 tribes of Israel
12 Disciples of Jesus
12 Greek Olympians
12 houses of the Zodiac (will explain how Sumerians created this)
12 planets in our solar system

All Sumerian 1st's.....

10) Will planet X be returning in 2012? Will it cause global effects as it has in the past?

The only culture using 2012 as a reference to pinpoint dates in the future are the Mayans on their LONG COUNT calendar. What most people are not aware of is that the Mayans had several calendars. The LONG COUNT calendar was one of which various PREDICTIONS were said to happen but not always accurate as time has shown us.

Yes, they were master astronomers, but were NOT able to see the future. They predicted in one of the Bactoons from the Long Count that their GOD KULKUKAN was going to return on a certain date. Instead, the Conquistadors showed up and aggressively converted the Mayans to Christianity destroying almost all of the Mayan codec’s.

Aside from the Mayan prediction for an end of time in 2012, there is no astronomical or Sumerian reference citing planet x is anywhere near us nor will it be anytime soon.

The amateur astronomy community has always been very good at finding new objects in our vicinity even before professional telescopes. Just look at Hale-Bopp. If a planet 4-8 times the size of earth comes anywhere near us, trust me, we'll be able to find it.

From Jason Martell:

I contacted Dr. Mukai to ask about the size of Planet X he was projecting. He was kind enough to share this information below.

********

Dear Jason Martell-san,

Thank you for sending me information.

(Answer from Mukai) Its diameter is expected as 10,000-16,000km (rougly the same
as the size of earth). Other details for Planet X is shown in the web site at http://www.org.kobe-u.ac.jp/cps/press080228_j.html Unfortunately, most of the news in Japanese, but you can get more from PDF file in item 1).

Best regards. Tadashi Mukai

It is a long standing big question
when and how the solar system was formed.

The studies of primitive bodies in the current solar system,
e.g., meteorites, comets, asteroids as well as interplanetary dust particles,
have the potential to give the answers because they have preserved the information
on the early phase of the solar system.

In the field of planetary sciences, we have different approaches to investigate the primitive bodies, namely

Exploration and laboratory experiments

Ground-based observations

Theoretical studies, including numerical simulations, on the
 formation of planetary systems

Combining these methods effectively, we study the origin and evolution of the solar system.
